In light of the late Seamus Heaney being called up on his translations, Label’s Emma Spencer contemplates where we would be without the intellectuals who translate classical literature!

Many courses at Loughborough University offer the option of taking an external, ten credit language module, no matter what your degree. Whilst this may seem culturally open minded, for many of us, it seems the gateway to fluency closed many years ago.

We had quite a few good entries, so we wanted to display the runner ups, which were judged by our Head of Media, Helen Crossley.

Producing a film isn̢��‰��t as glamorous as it first sounds: it isn̢��‰��t all red carpets and beautiful dresses. I spoke to amateur film producer Jennie Hall, who works on short films, which when completed are entered into film festivals and competitions.
