VP: Democracy and Communications candidate Michael ‘Luffman’ Munday feels confident about ‘what he knows’ and his ability to answer any challenging questions posed at tonight’s Union Hustings in Room One.

Union Hustings takes a different approach to the relaxed atmosphere for EHB hustings, focusing on the candidates manifesto and how viable their ideas for improvement in the union are.

This provides a further opportunity for the students to question each candidate.

Munday seemed happy with his preparation for tonight explaining to Label that his speech is ready and he’s taken time to look over both his and Pete ‘Papa Smurf’ Childs manifestos in order to answer the questions in the best way he possibly can.

When asked about his nerves regarding any questions posed by current VP: Democracy and Communications Jimbo Cownley or the floor, Munday seemed confident that no awkward questions will arise.

"Hopefully all the questions will be simple and straight forward."

As the campaign continues in full force, he expressed his happiness in the way the lecture shout outs have been received although mentioned the strain it’s put on his voice.

"Yesterday my voice went slightly and I was worried this morning about it but I’m getting more confident with them."

Munday told Label that himself and his campaign team are busy working on surprises for later in the week that are being kept quiet.

Both candidates, Michael Munday and Pete 'Papa Smurf' Childs will be at Union Hustings tonight in Room One.
