Loughborough Cross Country team swept up the medals and claimed the BUCS Champions title once again- sports editor, Jasmine Trapnell, details the events of the day that lead to the win. Loughborough were once again crowned BUCS national cross country champions on 4th February 2023! Winning 7 out of the 12 available individual medals and 3 of the 4 available individual golds – Loughborough lived up to its reputation. With lecturers having announced a number of strike days coming up throughout both February and March, our own Sports Editor, Jasmine Trapnell, reports on the situation and the feeling among the university students affected.
