Students who contracted COVID-19 or who exhibited symptoms of the virus have had to self-isolate for fourteen days. Two weeks is a long period of time, especially for young people, to be restricted from the outside world except for exercise. In an email to students, the Vice-Chancellor says that it was a “privilege to work here” and that he shall “always be grateful” to the Council (the University’s governing body) for inviting him to take on the role in 2012.
