I want to be clear that your body is yours and you absolutely are not required to groom yourself in any particular way that is not to your preference. Music speaks to us in a rather compelling way. Music artists can convey their personal life in their songs and take their listeners on a journey. This is exactly what Streatham-born 21-year-old UK rapper, David Orabosa Omoregie, aka Dave, portrays through his music. March 2021 marks the two-year anniversary of ‘Psychodrama’, the debut album from Dave. ‘Psychodrama’ is a concept album illustrating Dave’s exceptional storytelling. Label volunteer, Rebecca Pearson, shares her favourite Shakespearean plays and adaptations as this past week was Shakespeare week. Since Shakespeare wrote 37 plays, and collaborated on even more, it is likely that there will be something for everyone. Between comedies, histories and tragedies, as well as themes of love, death and folly, to name but a few, Shakespeare’s legacy has well and truly surpassed his time, and still continues to intrigue and excite popular imagination today. Whilst whittling down Shakespeare’s plays to distinguish some favourites is no easy task, it is his comedy, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, which has never ceased…

After many school and university students returned to school earlier this month, Returning volunteer Label writer Ada Ughanwa discusses whether she thinks the government were right to reopen learning institutions so early.  – On Monday 8th March, both university students deemed essential and needed in-person teaching and pupils in school were able to return to their formal educational establishments. This time around the government has been very selective in choosing who can attend university in person whereas before, all university students could attend.
