This week Loughborough golf faced Durham at Park Hill golf club. On a typically English wet and cold day, the conditions made it much harder for the golfers to play in. The final result of 4.5-1.5 to Loughborough was the result of strong performances throughout the team. All matches were tight and finished around the 17th and 18th holes. Man of the Match of the week is Luke Carter who shot a round of 3 under par to beat his very strong opponent 2&1. This win means it’s all to play for in the premiership title with 2 games remaining. At present Loughborough sit 3rd place with a game in hand, just 3 points behind Durham. Next week will see the team travel away to Northumbria. A win at Northumbria really would make things interesting!
