Label have put together a hall profile/ article for every hall in Loughborough. We’ve included the basics, what size the hall is, how big their committee is and more. The Gables Hall caters specifically for Loughborough College students. These are self- catered halls, with one block designated specifically to under 18s. The layouts of the blocks and rooms are varied, giving you a range of options! Situated within walking distance of Loughborough College and the town centre, attending your classes and heading to the shops couldn’t be easier! Communal areas host a ping- pong table, an Xbox, TV and an outdoor area too. This calm but sociable atmosphere provides a homely feel for its students.
Loughborough College students also have access to anything to do with Loughborough Students’ Union, enabling you to get involved just as much as University students, if you so wish. With your very own VP College, Ellis Jarvis, sitting on the LSU Executive Committee as an ex- College student herself, you always have someone to talk to with any problems, your voice will be heard and you can find out more ways to get involved with various sections of the students’ union.
Housing 180 students, The Gables is a small hall, but is still counted in IMS rankings, enabling you to get involved with sport at a starter level in Inter- Hall sport; and although currently at the bottom of the rankings, maybe you could help push them up!
