Whether sport interests you or not, this is not an event to be missed and will be held in Cogs from 7:30pm onwards! Thursday will see the live screening of a documentary, followed by a question and answer session, starting at 7pm in Cogs. The week will all be nicely rounded off with celebratory drinks starting at 7pm in The Kelso on Friday 13th March.

Ella Gibbons, Women’s Officer for Loughborough Women’s Network, had this to say about the upcoming week of events:

We are very excited about our week ahead celebrating International Women’s Day! We have got a whole load of inspirational events planned and hope to see you there. On Saturday we began our celebrations with a trip to the WOW festival in London, which was incredible. We are hoping to continue this through the rest of the week!

This is truly set to be a great week celebrating equality and achievements for women everywhere. With such a diverse range of events, there really is something for everyone to be involved in come day or night! If you’d like more information on any of the events, you can head over to the Loughborough Women’s Network Facebook page, or by following them on Twitter @LboroWomensNwrk.
