Every season the world’s biggest department stores battle to outshine each other, creating unforgettable and artistic masterpieces in their windows. Although the London greats such as Selfridges and Harvey Nichols received outstanding reviews for their windows this year, it seems that that public’s heart was won over by the Christian Dior collaboration with the luxurious Printemps Haussmann department store in Paris.

The windows showcased Haute couture Dior designs modeled on 74 dolls wearing outfits from collections dating back to the 1950s. Exact miniature replicas of the outfits were crafted in the Haute couture workshop in Paris; no detail was overlooked as the dolls featured perfectly recreated iconic beauty runaway looks.

The legendary Parisian fashion house also used the symbols of French culture showing the dolls ice-skating at the Eiffel Tower, taking sights from hot air balloon and eating cotton candy in the city of lights.
