Loughborough has been left shocked after news broke over the Easter weekend that university student, Thomas Healy's body was found under a M6 flyover.
The death is being treated as unexplained by West Midlands Police.
Healy, 19, who studied Geography at the university, was found on Saturday afternoon on land near to Hurricane Park Industrial Park in Erdington just outside Birmingham.
The police have reported that Healy was thought to be walking along the hard shoulder of the elevated of the motorway in a northbound direction when he was last seen at approximately midnight. Officers also believe he had been travelling in a minibus with friends when the vehicle stopped, at around 11.45pm, and Healy got out.
Acting Inspector Bate, from Birmingham North Police said, "We would like to hear from any drivers using the motorway who may have seen Thomas after he left the minibus on the M6 in the early hours until his body was found later that day."
