An instant music ban has been imposed against the proprietor (Infinite Leisure Ltd) of Mansion, Loughborough, after a Phonographic Performance Ltd (PPL) inspection revealed that the club had been playing some music without an appropriate licence. PPL collects and distributes money on behalf of record companies and performers. During the inspection the club is alleged to have played Scouting For Girls̢��‰�� She̢��‰��s So Lovely, Taio Cruz̢��‰��s Troublemaker and Bastille̢��‰��s Pompeii, all artists covered by PPL licences.

On the 12 December DBE will be hosting their fifth birthday celebrations at the Student̢��‰��s Union. It has been five years since DBE first established itself as one of the major nights out in Loughborough.
