It’s that time of year again! Yes you heard… It’s time for the annual LSU Dance show! This year we will be whisking you away to the movies, a world of glitz and glamour and action packed entertainment!
Come along and watch out for beloved Hollywood classics, lively musical tributes and some of the more recent blockbusters, along with your favourite characters and storylines from a spectacular array of film genres. From Chicago to Alice in Wonderland, James Bond to Pirates of the Caribbean and Grease to Peter Pan, there really is something for everyone, with a variety of styles and abilities and dancers performing Oscar worthy routines!
Fan of Strictly? Then you will love Latin, our brand new ‘Dirty Dancing’ addition for you this year! For all you Cogz lovers out there get ready to see how it’s done with our fantastic Hip Hop ‘Dreamgirls’, or if you prefer something more classical then prepare to be dazzled by our talented ballerinas as they grace the stage! Our fantastic award winning tappers are also back to keep you on the edge of your seats as they show you their ‘Happy Feet’, as are our jazz and contemporary dancers who will show you how they ‘Burlesque’!
Any singles out there?! Then what better way to spend Valentine’s Day than at the theatre with friends watching performances that you are bound to fall in love with?! Lads… you definitely won’t want to miss our fabulous Fitness and Flexibility ladies and ‘All that Jazz’.
Watch out for your favourite characters popping up around Campus within the next few weeks, whether it be on our larger than life posters or in the flesh; who will you spot?!
You would be mad to miss this Filmtastic extravaganza, so put the dates in your diary now and prepare to take a trip down the Red Carpet and into the big screen!
