Label chatted with Martin So, who gave the following statement on the competition:

“Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who submitted an entry for the Christmas jumper competition. The decision wasn’t straightforward when it came to choosing the winning design because there were so many exceptional entries and to pick one winner wasn’t an easy job. However, we chose Lucie’s design as the winner because we thought the design was clever; how she has used typography to form the shape of a Christmas tree and also the use of the word ‘loughly’ was smart as well. We believe that the design that we have chosen is suitable for everyone and hopefully people will agree with that.”

Massive congratulations to Lucie from Label, looking forward to seeing the jumpers popping up around campus and especially on December 1st, Christmas Jumper Day. Loughborough staff and students will unite yet again to attempt to beat the Guinness World record for the most people wearing a Christmas Jumper in one place! It’s set to be a great day, make sure you’re in Shirley Pearce Square for the event and keep your eyes peeled for the main announcement of the event over the next couple of weeks!
