Loughborough Men’s Hockey 1s vs Oxford Brookes University BUCS Championship 18.2.2015 On February 18th, Loughborough Men’s 1st team played Oxford Brookes on the Water-base pitch. With a solid crowd of spectators, even the sun decided to pay a visit to oversee the home side in their Last 16 match of the BUCS Hockey Championship. The winner of this match would go through to play away to Exeter in the quarter-finals. Wednesday 18th February saw the highly anticipated University Mental Health and Wellbeing Day. The Union was wonderfully transformed by members of the Welfare and Diversity committee, VP Welfare and Diversity, Izzy Ford, and the HeadsUp! team. The theme of the day was “I chose to disclose”, prompting people to share their experiences, pledge to look after their mental health and cut the stigma. HeadsUp! are a student- led group aiming to promote positive mental health and wellbeing in students.
