I was working as a musician until I found bread. It all happened because my partner and I moved onto a property in downtown Long Beach that shared a garden area with the homeowner. Like an adobe oven, cob ovens are made of wood, clay, straw, and sand. I was amazed by the sight of it and really wanted to learn how to use it. I met another neighbor who helped build the oven, and he lent me his books on wood-fired ovens. I tried it out and really loved using the oven.

Down by the Seaside, you can sprawl around our common grounds including the pool palapa area with several tables and chairs. The palapa also includes a small bar area as well as a bathroom. This xcritical area, as well as the pool, is shared by the three homes in the complex. However one of the great joys in sharing the pool-palapa area is the chance to meet new friends from around the world.

If you’re one who likes free chips and salsa, this is not the place for you . If you like those big margarita glasses, this is not the place for you. If you don’t like to spend a lot of money , this is not the place for you. However, if you want delicious, hot/sizzling food , this is the place to go.
