On Wednesday 24th April, the LSU Student Forum gathered to Elect the three new Development Officers (DOs) for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The positions available were International DO, Community DO and Ethical & Environmental DO, with candidates running in all three elections.
The first position available was Community DO which saw Toby Ogen stand against Omotara Nadi.
The International DO position was similarly contested by 2 candidates; Aarushi Mittal and Ana-Maria Bilciu.
The position of Ethical & Environmental DO was not contested, with Naomi Howlett the only candidate running.

Omotara Nadi: 39 votes – ELECTED
Re-Open Nominations: 3 votes
International DO
Aarushi Mittal: 23 votes
Ana-Maria Bilciu: 26 votes – ELECTED
Re-Open Nominations: 0 votes
Ethical & Environmental DO
Naomi Howlett: 28 votes – ELECTED
Re-Open Nominations: 7 votes
