You’ve now all seen a copy of Label, right? I hope so, but if not all of our hard work is available to view online so whether you’re in Loughborough or sunning yourself somewhere else, you can still read all about what’s going on here. Label Issue 1 can be viewed here and we’d love to know what you think!
Issue 2 is underway and we’ve had lots of new volunteers writing and designing for this issue, and it’s really exciting and promising to welcome so many new faces to Label and LSU Media as a whole. Following Make Your Mark and a Media Social, we’ve got to know quite a few of the new volunteers and it’s wonderful how keen they all are. I personally cannot wait to see more of their work in the near future. Article and design wise, Issue 2 is already shaping up to be another great one and I have to thank the Label Committee for the work that they’ve put in yet again to produce exciting content and facilitate it for volunteers.
A few fresh things to look out for:
Check out Music’s article on Adele, Culture’s coverage of a student play and a Sports report. News have been looking at consent classes and the NUS, whilst Features have covered Union nights out and Black History Month events. Great job team. Special mention to Culture this week for getting lots of content out and a lovely job from many new writers too.
Issue 2 will be available at the beginning of November in halls, the union and other on- campus buildings. You can also see myself and Leanna Kightley on LSUTV’s TGIS live programme on Sunday evening talking about what we’ve been up to in the last couple of weeks- enjoy!
