If you missed the live LSUTV coverage of Freshers Reveal 2015 Label is bringing you all the information on what is set to be the best Freshers fortnight yet! The line-up for #LSUFreshers15 has officially been revealed and Label has got the scoop on heats in the Sing Off, to what big acts the union has in store for an incredible freshers.
Loughborough Student’s Union is know for their ability to bring in major crowd pleasers for Freshers from Tinie Tempah to Radio One’s Greg James to Game of Thrones’ Hodor and this year is no different with some huge acts to look forward to. (Find out here!)
Here’s what the LSU has in store for your first ever Sing Off:
Heat 1
Faraday
Telford
Falk Egg
Harry French
The Holt
The first heat of the Sing Off is certain to be entertaining with well-known troublemakers Falk Egg on the scene as well as boasting the resurrection of the oldest hall on campus that has recently come out of retirement, The Holt. Of course we cannot forget the 2014 reigning champions Telford in the mix with Faraday who love competition but never seem to make it to the final.
Heat 2
Elvyn
Rigg Rutt
Rutherford (haven’t reached a final)
Towers
DC (underdogs)
With the small and mighty Rigg Rutt led by Jonathan Ako could this be the year Rigg Rutt takes on long-time rivals and 2014 finalists Elvyn. Despite Rutherford yet to reach a Sing Off final, could they throw a spanner in the works alongside underdogs DC? Not forgetting Towers who seem to be majestically above all of the other halls.
Heat 3
Bill Mo
Royce
Bakewell
Cayley
Butler Court
The third and final heat is set to be sensational with Bill Mo winning in 2012 and 2013- perhaps they are trying for a third win. With 3 members of the exec being former Cayley residents, big things are expected from them. Nonetheless it will certainly be interesting to see if the frat house will put up a decent a fight with last years finalists- Butler Court.
Don’t forget Platinum and Gold packages go on sale tomorrow!
