The breaks food lorry got it very wrong as it was on its way to delivering stock to the catered halls at the university.
Students were left in complete astonishment as they saw the food truck had crashed onto the pitch just behind Faraday hall. Although no one is exactly clear as to the food truck found itself of the road, chances are it had something to do with how narrow the road is and the food truck was attempting to manouvre out of the way for a fellow road user…
Bemused co station manager of LSUTV, Nina Blissett, explained “When you’re coming up [the road] the bus is pretty tight, I fear for life even in my tiny little car”
Media Training and Productions Support, Jordan Chambers stated, “We hear about health and safety everywhere else so why don’t we make our roads safe enough to let two cars pass each other, what about cycles and pedestrians?”
Rumours are a recovery truck is on its way to pull the truck out. Hopefully it will manage to get there with the proposed tight road.
Students are expected to have their food soon.
