We are constantly reminded of all of those loved up couples and the ways that they spend one day in the whole year concentrating solely on being as romantic as possible.
Many people use the day to propose, sometimes in quite an unconventional way. Youtube has some great examples of this. From guys creating movies to show their love for their partner, to group dance routines and flashmobs before the proposal, there really is no limit to the ways in which people express their affections nowadays! I can’t quite imagine how the general public would react to a flashmob in the middle of town, but I’m sure it would be special for those involved, imagine the planning that went into such an event for starters! The woman looks so shocked, and the man even dances into his proposal position in front of her on the floor. Another fascinating proposal idea is getting half of the passengers on a plane to dance around to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars, not sure if it breaks safety regulations, but hey it’s ingenious. Aside from the slight embarrassment which the woman shows, I don’t think you could be ungrateful, she certainly wouldn’t forget that day in a hurry, especially as it is online for all to see.

Where to put the big rock? Some go for the traditional down on one knee approach and simply show their partner the ring without feeling the need to be creative with how they present it. However, this does not apply to everyone. Some put them around wine glasses, whilst others may put it on a cake or a piece of fruit, or even around a high heel. Whether you’re traditional, contemporary, or just a bit quirky, it doesn’t really matter, as long as the type of proposal suits you as a couple and that the end result is a yes!
