It's Bank Holiday Monday – So let's get happy! On day eleven of our fifteenth anniversary countdown, Features Editor Laura Smith provides us with fifteen fun facts that make us happy!

  1. Otters hold hands whilst they fall asleep so they don’t float apart.
  2. The voices of Mickie and Minnie Mouse are married in real life.
  3. Norway once knighted a penguin.
  4. A group of Flamingos is called a Flamboyance.
  5. Cows have BFF’s and get stressed when they are away from them.
  6. Worms communicate with one another by snuggling.
  7. Window washers at children’s hospitals dress up as superheroes to surprise the kids.
  8. Blind people smile despite never having seen other people do it. It is a natural human impulse.
  9. We’re all made of star dust: The nitrogen, carbon, calcium and iron in our bodies was made in the inside of collapsing stars.
  10. Sometimes sloths are so stupid they mistake their own arm for a branch and fall out of the tree.
  11. A group of porcupines is called a Prickle.
  12. Spinner dolphins sleep in pairs: One with it’s left eye and left side of the brain active and the other with the right.
  13. Cows produce the most milk when listening to Everybody Hurts by REM.
  14. Before his assassination, Martin Luther King Jr had a pillow fight in his motel room.
  15. Cuddling releases Oxytocin which speeds healing and recovery from physical wounds.
