This week sees the campaigning period for the Postgraduate EO elections. In the first ever PG EO election, LSU sees two students running to join the ever-growing Executive Committee with more information on Manifestos and campaigns to follow very soon (manifestos are now available to view here). One candidate has already been seen to be spamming on social media to gain popularity and awareness of the campaign through Facebook and Twitter. With photographs and video manifestos of the candidates in progress, maybe the election will heat up in the next couple of days.

This evening you can tune in to the LSUTV debate between the two candidates: George Hones and Cathy Sun. Be sure to send in your questions using #PGEO and find out more information during the debate and through LSU Media throughout the campaign period in the next couple of days.
Dates:
Campaigning is running from Monday 16th – Wednesday 18th May during which you’ll be able to chat with the two candidates, tune into the debate and find out more about their intentions for their potential terms in office as the first Postgraduate EO.
Voting will take place this Thursday 19th May – Friday 20th May at 4pm (tbc).
Your new Postgraduate EO will be announced on Friday evening.
