For anyone who keeps a vague eye on the news or weather, it’s not hard to notice the number of flood warnings and storms we’ve seen so far this year. Fields have been turned into lakes, footpaths into swamps, and the number of road closures around rivers has caused major disruptions up and down the country. Over the past few weeks, as usual, Loughborough has been dominating the BUCS world. We’ve seen derby matches across several sports as well as Super Weekends to add to the history books. So, here’s a round-up of the last couple of weeks in AV. At the start of February, the Men’s and Women’s Tennis National League teams travelled to Roehampton for their second Super Weekend of the year. The Men’s team had a successful weekend with 5-1 and 4-2 victories over Leeds Beckett and Bath respectively.
