AS IF we didn’t already know how, frankly, amazing Loughborough University is, we’ve gone and topped another ranking based, this time, on student satisfaction and graduate success.
It’s been announced today that we are sitting pretty at the top of the Times Higher Education listing of the top universities for teaching, with Cambridge and Oxford reaching only 12th and 28th respectively. This shows that Loughborough performed well in a mock assessment regarding how the University may perform under a new teaching framework, the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) which focuses on research and teaching quality. All good signs.
This latest ranking is the latest in a series of fantastic results for our beloved uni, having only recently added WhatUni?’s first place for Clubs and Societies to LSU’s trophy cabinet, as well as being named The Complete University Guide’s number 7 University for 2017, and The Guardian’s number 4.
I could go on, but I won’t bore you with all the rankings. We all know it only takes a passing trip through the Union to see just what Loughborough has achieved over the past year (and quite rightly so)!
Being a University and Students’ Union not only immensely proud of their students’ achievements but also their own, no doubt this will bring a smile to the faces of those who have worked tirelessly to give Loughborough students the best education they can over the past year.
I’m sure I speak for us all when we say we are proud to be studying at/graduating from a university that is going from strength to strength. Go Loughborough!
