The inhabitants of Kalupapi, a remote Indonesian village, believed they were the lucky ones when a young fisherman found what he thought was an ‘angel from heaven’ lying on the beach. He claimed to have heard the angel falling from out of the sky, and so rescued her and brought her back to his village. According to the fisherman, “this angel child also was found face down, crying and naked covered only by a white cloth.”
For the next few days, villagers kept watch over her, regularly changed her clothes and hijab, and kept her sitting in a chair. The Kalupapi residents believed that they were the lucky ones, who had rescued and cared for an angel. Therefore, the only thing to do was to take to Instagram and other forms of social media to share this wonderful news.
However, their hopes were soon dashed when local police authorities arrived and revealed that the supposed ‘angel from heaven’ was in fact a sex doll that had been discarded on the beach.
The current whereabouts of the sex doll/ ‘angel from heaven’ is unknown, as is the reaction of the villagers. However, it is doubtful that they were too impressed by the angels true identity.
