So, this year’s Grad Ball headliner has finally been revealed.
Following last week’s announcement that ‘Rio Carnival’ is your winning theme for the night, we now know that Craig David will be joining us on July 15th 2016!
I, for one, cannot wait to dance the night away (samba style, of course) to Craig David’s TS5. As a Craig David fangirl, I see this as the most fantastic opportunity to relive our youth while dancing along to this noughties legend, continuing the OO’s theme the Union has stuck with for much of this year.
Other fans amongst you will know that we can expect him to play classic tunes as ‘7 Days’ (who doesn’t know all the words to that one?) and ‘Fill Me In’, as well as new tunes such as ‘When The Bassline Drops’ and ‘Nothing Like This’.

The official reveal video, which was released on the new Grad Ball website at 2pm today, tells us that our new best pal, Craig, has had 14 top ten singles, and has been nominated for 12 Brit Awards! Most importantly though, we now know that tickets will become available on 7th May at noon.
More information will follow, as many other acts will join Craig David’s TS5 on this celebratory evening. But in the meantime, come on, when the bassline drops we ALL know what to do…
