On Sunday 28th February the Loughborough Students’ Badminton Club will make a second attempt at breaking the World Record for the most participants in a continuous badminton rally. The record currently stands at 123 people and is held by Meath Badminton Association in Ireland.
In December the club made an initial attempt to break the record but unfortunately were unsuccessful. This time they feel as though they are able to go the whole way.
Like the first attempt, the event will be in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and any donations on the day will be greatly welcomed.
People wishing to participate are asked to arrive by 15:00 in the Badminton Centre so that proceedings can get underway and to allow as much time as possible to beat the record.
Make sure that you get along and support both the badminton club and an excellent charity.
