BNP has been removed from the official list of political parties after failing to pay the £25 registration fee.
The controversial party, that once dominated headlines and won two seats in the European Parliament in 2009, has been removed from the official political parties register after failing to pay their pre registration fee to the Electoral Commission, as required by the Political Parties and Referendums Act 200. The now declining party risks being unable to stand in election, potentially resulting in the likelihood of the party falling into political oblivion as a result of the incompetency or deliberate misconduct due to a “clerical error’.
After having six months to submit their details and failing it is by law that the Electoral Commission removed the BNP from the list.
