Following a survey presented to Loughborough Students during March, finalists have now voted in their favourite theme for Grad-Ball 2015.
Out of the four possible themes, Loughborough Students’ Union will be decorated and themed entirely around Las Vegas, having been voted for by 752 students. The voting turnout was 1328, hence Las Vegas won by an overall majority with 56% of voters choosing the theme. Frozen, Game of Thrones and 70’s Retro were the three other possibilities for the Grad Ball set to be held on 17th July 2015.

The evening will be entirely themed, in terms of decoration of the union, around Las Vegas– so expect a few feather boas and no doubt casino style decorations. Many Graduates will take this opportunity to dress up accordingly, whilst others may stick to the traditional suit or gown for their big celebratory night out in the union.
Tickets will be available to purchase on the LSU website very soon alongside the announcement of the acts that are set to attend the event. As a possible last union night out for many Graduates, this really isn’t one to be missed- time to get shopping for that themed outfit before someone else beats you to the fancy dress shops’ best Elvis costume!
