Name: Katherine Clark
Course: BA Illustration
Favourite material/medium to work with: I like to work primarily in papercut, but also like to create my silhouette based imagery digitally in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Idea for Fight Night piece: I wanted to create a bold and striking image to illustrate the competitive atmosphere and the climb to triumph of the athletes. I created this in Adobe Illustrator and used scanned in spray paint texture to give the final image a more analogue and tactile quality. The aim was to have an atmospheric illustration that gives the feel of the competition and draws the eye to the Fight Night logo.
Potential career choice: Editorial or Book cover illustration.
