Following on from Loughborough’s recent successes, including a number of accolades at the WhatUni Choice Awards and winning Times Higher Education Best Student Experience, Loughborough University has just ranked 7th place in the recent release of the Complete University Guide 2017. This is an increase of four places from last year, and is a great achievement as it is the first time Loughborough has made it into the top ten. Such statistics prove that our university really does just get better and better. In an official release by the university, it has been noted that this makes Loughborough the top institution in the Midlands, and the fastest riser within the top 20.

Vice Chancellor, Professor Robert Allison commented:

“This is an amazing achievement for our entire Loughborough University community and is yet further evidence that Loughborough is one of the best universities in the country.”

The Complete University Guide is a well respected publication, that ranks universities on a variety of different categories, including research, student satisfaction and graduate prospects. For more information, see what Professor Robert Allison has to say in this short video:

Congratulations once again Loughborough!
