- Assistant Station Manager

Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist the Station Manager with the day to day running of LCR and be the first point of the delegation during busy times.
- Create the agenda for and take minutes at the weekly LCR meetings.
- Responsible for the uploads of on-demand shows each week whether delegated across committee or taken into own hands.
- Liaise with the committee to ensure that the mentor system is being upheld and effective throughout the year.
Opportunities:
- To be second in command at a successful student radio station.
- Being heavily involved in LSU Media and having the ability to cross-platform where necessary.
- To have a hand in all sections of the LCR Committee.
Useful previous experience:
- Experience of working as part of a team and managing people.
- Knowledge of how LCR runs.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
Average time commitment:
- Around 8 hours per week.
- Additional time during busy periods such as Exec Elections and Freshers.
Responsible to: Media Chair, LCR Station Manager
- Head of Production

Duties and responsibilities:
- Off-air creative audio production.
- Making jingles and show promos, as well as other audio editing for the station.
Opportunities:
- Help improve the sound of LCR as a station.
- Work with a wide variety of people to create custom jingles and show promos for the station.
Useful previous experience:
- Experience with Adobe Audition or other audio editing software.
- An understanding and interest in radio.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
Average time commitment:
- 6-8 hours per week
Responsible to: Media Chair, LCR Station Manager
- Head of Music

Duties and responsibilities:
- Take charge of music and playlists on Radio DJ and ensure they are updated each week, with collaborations with the Head of Content.
- Liaise with external talent companies to create opportunities for volunteers to be involved with new and upcoming music.
- Lead a team of volunteers who are passionate about music.
- Produce online content such as Spotify playlists and artist interviews.
- Get involved with Union music events such as Soundclash and DJ Soc.
Opportunities:
- Gain an understanding into the music industry and how that relates to radio.
- Go to local gigs and music events to interview artists.
- To get involved with Union music events such as Soundclash and DJ Soc.
- The chance to cross platform with other music groups in the University.
Useful previous experience:
- Wide knowledge of music.
- Ability to work to deadlines as uploads and playlists need to be finished on time for shows.
Average time commitment:
- Around 6-8 hours per week.
- Additional time during busy periods such as Exec Elections and Freshers’.
Responsible to:Media Chair, LCR Station Manager
- Head of Sport

Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for sport output of LCR
- Oversee and lead a team of LCR sport volunteers
- Liaise with the LSU Media Head of Sport to ensure that LCR Sport content is relevant to sporting events on campus
- Work to push the Match Report brand across most, if not all, LCR Sport content.
Opportunities:
- Be a part of the award winning Match Report brand.
- Gain an understanding of sport journalism and sport media.
- Be at the forefront of building upon the media profile of the best sporting University in the country.
Useful previous experience:
- Someone who has a good understanding of sport at Loughborough University and potentially has links to the AU.
- An interest in world sport and events.
- An understanding and interest in radio.
Average time commitment:
- Around 6-8 hours per week.
- Additional time during busy periods such as BUCS finals, D Day etc.
