Loughborough University have risen in the Guardian University League Tables for 2017- reaching 4th place. Previously in 11th place last year, Loughborough have risen seven places in this prestigious league table.
The league table sees Cambridge, Oxford and St Andrews taking the top three places, with Loughborough receiving joint fourth with Surrey, who maintain their 4th place from 2016 whilst Durham remain in 6th. This has been a highly successful for Loughborough’s rankings, placing 7th in the Complete University Guide and topping the Times Higher Education award this year.
The league table accounts for 119 UK Universities, and scores them according to things such as course satisfaction, teaching satisfaction and student to staff ratio.

“Although rankings fluctuate, with universities going up and down, this latest positioning for Loughborough is yet further evidence of our continued success and is testament to the hard work that has taken place across the University.
