TEDxLoughborough – “Caring for Tomorrow Today” 22nd February

Following last year’s success with “Painting Humanity”, TEDxLoughborough will be shifting this year’s focus  to “Caring for Tomorrow Today”, tackling a variety of fields, from food systems to renewable energy, from human trafficking to motivation.

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of Ideas Worth Spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.

OK, but what is TED?
TED stands for “Technology, Entertainment, Design”. It is a non-profit organisation devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading, bringing people with exceptional ideas to share them with the entire community.

Similarly, TEDxLoughborough will bring 10 speakers to share their insights in their fields of expertise and how they can help address the socio-economic challenges facing humankind.

Early bird tickets are available now until the 15th February at lsu.co.uk/society/tedx
