Results night: It’s the night everyone has been waiting for. For the candidates it’s the end to a non-stop week of campaigning, not sleeping and telling everyone and anyone they meet their manifesto ideas. Results night is known as the most glamorous night of elections and with all eyes on the hopeful candidate’s, the pressure to outshine your competitor is on! So what is the perfect results night attire? Label Style are here to lend a helping hand to both candidates and students looking for a stand out winners outfit and looks what is on the high street this season to help you win points on the style front.

Free entry to Hey Ewe when you cast your vote means Room One will be full to capacity next Wednesday for results night so looking good is key. Candidates can’t do anything about votes now so they can take this time to bask in their fifteen minutes of fame and shine with their favourite outfit. After a week of literally sleeping in their fancy dress outfits it’s a welcome break to dress smartly. Candidates often go for smart formal/party wear on this occasion. Dust off your faithful Winter/Summer ball wear, or take this opportunity to treat yourself for all your hard work and go shopping for a new outfit. Especially with the new £100 budget limit implemented this year why not reward yourself?

Last years results night saw a range of outfits from the current Exec. A favourite of the style team was Georgie Court’s gold glittery dress; a perfect winners dress (check out our gallery below). The boys wore suit and ties and Lewis Timms’ checked shirt fitted the part. But what will the candidates wear this year? We would love to a see the boys rocking an on-trend bow tie or quirky tweed suit. ASOS have a great selection here.

For the girls a statement dress or stand out separates in this season’s colours would look great. Geo prints are big and would look good on a midi dress or long sleeve shirt, like the ones from Topshop right here.

It’s been a long week and all those late nights means concealer will be your new best friend to hide the bags under the eyes. Waterproof mascara might be a good plan whether you’re a winner or a loser; tears could be flowing either way.

For everyone watching and rooting for your favourite candidate in the audience, just go with standard Hey Ewe attire. If you are watching from the comfort of your home like I will be, all you need is your comfiest PJ’s, a mug of tea and LSUTV and Label Live Updates for a front row seat to the reveal of your new Exec line up.

For those of you who are yet to vote, free entry to Hey Ewe results night is available, simply by selecting your preferred candidates on http://www.lufbra.net/elections2013/, and don't forget about your right to #RememberRON
