Loughborough Student Riders Women took on Sefton Starlights in their EBL quarter final match-up.

Sefton Stars couldn't contain the size and strength of the Students Riders as the Midlands-South West runners-up opened an early lead and didn't look back. Head Coach, Matthew Harber, produced a great team performance and some influential performances from the bench, Loughborough advanced with an 80-30 victory.

Loughborough's Maaja Bratka, Division 2 women’s scoring champion, had a game-high 18 points followed by Lucy Buxton's 14.

Student Riders Women will travel to Manchester for the EBL Division 2 semi-final this coming weekend. Loughborough lost narrowly to the same side in their knockout competition earlier in the season so it’s sure to be a great rematch for the two sides.
